Fullstack Ruby on Rails developer

We’re looking for an experienced developer to help us develop the desktop application for Hugo.dog.

About Hugo.dog

Hugo is a newly founded R&D startup with backing from the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR).

Hugo exists to make dogs happy. We’re building a state-of-the-art technology which encompasses Internet of Things, Machine Learning, mobile applications and a great desktop website to track dog activity, help dog owners learn the habits of their loved ones, and make their life a truly enjoyable experience.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain Hugo.dog desktop application including e-learning, shopping and activity reporting modules in AWS
• Write clean functional code on the front and back-end
• Testing and fixing bugs
• Work with data scientists to implement ML models
• Set development priorities

Essential skills

• Experience with Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB
• Experience with Angular/React/Vue.js
• Experience with AWS
• Great communication skills

This is a work-from-anywhere position with occasional f2f meetings in our office in WeWork, Krucza 50 (planned at least 2 weeks in advance).
